Due to floods in the East, Southern Spain and Balearic Islands, Cunningham Lindsey Iberia has deployed its organization in these areas to respond quickly and efficiently to the claims that have risen due to nearly 7,000 claims caused by torrential rains and strong winds.

The region of Murcia is the most affected followed by the Valencian Community, Almeria and Balearic Islands.

Since October of this year, this is the fourth deadly flood event to hit Spain.

Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (AEMET) in Valencia report that around 400 mm of rain fell between 16 and 19 December in Beniarrés (433.2 mm) and Pinet (398.6 mm).

The CLI platform for management and assessment of these type of claims is led by Eva del Campo, Director of Personal Lines and TPA inTrust. We are being decisive in order to respond to the urgent requirements of these circumstances.

The CLI expert network with the reinforcement of mechanisms introduced for such critical response needs and our experience in this type of extreme weather situations allows us to respond effectively to these extraordinary situations.

We also have contingency plans to provide additional support for emergency visits over the Christmas and New Year period – this applies to all our loss adjusting services.
