Steve Powell

Mr. Powell serves as the chief executive leader for our global forensic engineering, fire investigation, and environmental consulting services with operations in United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, France, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, South Africa, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.

Mr. Powell has nearly 30 years of management experience including leading multi-disciplined engineering consulting companies and has spent the last 14 years providing executive oversight for property and casualty insurance services businesses.

Mr. Powell previously served as President of Unified Investigations and Sciences, Inc., as Executive Vice President at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., served in various progressively responsible positions in construction and commercial building services prior to his career in claims. He also serves multiple boards as a board director.

Mr. Powell holds a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University of Science and Technology, earned the LEED AP professional accreditation and the IAAI-FIT designation. He has been a testifying expert in numerous courts and jurisdictions. Mr. Powell has completed postgraduate courses in executive leadership, change management and strategy at University of Cambridge, IMD, Center for Creative Leadership, and University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
