A best in class validation service or lower value buildings claims.

Cunningham Lindsey has today launched Invisio, a new, independent validation service for lower value domestic and commercial buildings claims.  Invisio provides a quick settlement – more than 90% of claims are finalised during the first visit, giving a clear decision for those customers with smaller building claims.  At the outset Invisio  offers a fast appointment booking system, allowing insurer claims handlers to book an appointment whilst on the First Notification call and secure a customer visit on the same day or at least within 48 hours.

Invisio has 100% coverage across the UK.  The service is delivered by a national network of more than 70 Building Claim Inspectors (BCIs), who are independent construction industry specialists, with hands-on experience in organising and costing out repairs to commercial and domestic buildings.

Mark Henderson, Director, Projects and Risk & Compliance, said: “Invisio has been developed to provide the best in class alternative to current providers in this niche sector of the market.  Our smart technology makes the customer journey quick, simple and hassle-free – from the self-service appointment system, to our smartphone app and video technology.  We’ve also got an incredibly strong network of Building Claim Inspectors and, with the support of the wider business, we have the capacity to expand up to ten times our size during surge.

“It’s a standalone validation service, but we can also seamlessly migrate any claim that’s more complex than first thought into the fully project managed loss adjusting side of our business.  This really makes us stand out from our competitors.”

The Invisio BCIs are equipped with the right tools – ladder access to gutter height and camera mast technology – to carry out a thorough site inspection, including same day asbestos sampling, if required.  They are also supported by an easy, line-by-line scoping software system, using competitive rates, which are set in conjunction with Quantity Surveyors and are weighted to allow for local pricing.

Customers are offered a cash settlement there and then.  They can choose their own repairer or the BCI can organise a recommended contractor via Oriel (Cunningham Lindsey’s managed contractor network) or the insurers’ preferred provider.   Where suitable, ‘smart repairs’ instead of replacement are also an Invisio option.

Suzanne Armstrong is Head of Invisio.  She joins the business having managed businesses in this market over a number of years. Michael Brown is Technical Head of Invisio, and has more than 12 years experience in this market.

The Invisio BCIs are supported by desk-based and technical expert teams working out of the company’s Glasgow Claims Centre.
